Dear N3C Community,
It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to temporarily close N3C as we all do our part to limit the spread of COVID-19. A few days ago I felt that the benefits of remaining open were greater than the risks of doing so. Upon further consideration and analysis, I no longer believe this is the case. I think the responsible thing to do is to close to the general public for the time being.
Wednesday, March 18th, will be the last day we will be fully open for a while. We will be reassessing the situation on an ongoing basis and sincerely hope that this closure will be relatively brief.
We are also strongly considering opening for limited members-only hours; things continue to change rapidly and we will keep you updated.
As always, we appreciate the emails and conversations we have had with many of you as we have wrestled with determining the best way forward in light of the pandemic. We are nothing without our community.
I hope that members who are able to will maintain their memberships through this difficult time. I also understand and respect that some of you are not in a position to do so. Any members who wish to freeze their accounts can do so with no fee. Just reach out and let us know.
