Rusty Talbot
Owner & Lead Guide
Rusty loves long climbs and traveling fast and efficiently through the mountains. In his more than 25 years of climbing he has led mountaineering expeditions to Nepal and Alaska, summited North America’s highest peak on his first attempt and completed the highly sought after Grand Traverse of the Teton Range. Despite these significant accomplishments, Rusty’s guiding focus has always been on introducing people to the joys of climbing. So whether you’re new to climbing entirely, are looking to dial in your skills for your own adventures, or just want someone to show you the best climbing the White Mountains have to offer, Rusty can help.

Brian McGlynn
Operations Manager & Guide
From the moment he first discovered climbing in late 2016 (right here at N3C!), Brian built his life around it and he hasn’t looked back yet. Although his true specialty is hard single pitch climbing, Brian loves a good adventure as much as anyone. He maintains that the top of the Eaglet spire is the coolest place in all of NH and will happily take you there up to prove his point. His other roles as a coach and route setter, as well as his constant drive to improve his own climbing, have made Brian familiar with climbing movement in all its forms; so whether you’re a beginner just learning to move on rock for the first time, or a veteran looking to push yourself and your skills, Brian can help!

Haley Chadburn
Guide
Haley began her climbing career here at N3C when she was only 14. She quickly became a fixture of the community, first getting a job at the desk before moving into coaching, route setting, and then guiding, as well as completing a degree in Outdoor Education at NVU, and co-founding our inclusive ABD (Anybody But Dudes) program. Haley brings the same kind and patient approach to guiding that she does to coaching, and is great with new climbers, kids, and anyone who prefers a gentle teaching style!
