Notice to Applicants – Pre Hire Screening: Due to safety considerations inherent to the North Country Climbing Center’s line of business and our diverse customer make up, which includes children, North Country Climbing Center requires all final job applicants to have a criminal background check. Any offer of employment will be conditional upon the results of the background check. A criminal background check will not be initiated without the authorization of the applicant. The background check will include, but may not be limited to, a criminal history review on a county, state, and federal level as well as sex offender registries. A report demonstrating a verified criminal record may result in the denial of employment, but does not necessarily preclude employment at the North Country Climbing Center. Refusal to comply with the background check will constitute reason to deny employment.
Equal Opportunity Employer: The North Country Climbing Center is an equal opportunity employer. As such, the North Country Climbing Center does not discriminate against any applicant for employment based on their age, race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, ethnic identity, physical or mental disability, veteran status, marital status, economic status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other legally protected basis.
