Join the North Country Boulder Battle!
It’s been a while since our last community competition at N3C, but the wait is over — we have scheduled the North Country Boulder Battle for Friday, April 11! This comp is all about good vibes, friendly competition, and a whole lot of fun. Grab two friends and form a team of three for an epic evening of climbing and shenanigans! We’re mixing things up with a wild scoring system designed to give every team a shot at glory — so don’t worry about putting together a powerhouse team. Even if you’re “not a boulderer,” this is your chance to join the fun! Keep reading for the details!
When:
- Friday, April 11th
- Climbing Open from 4pm to 8pm
- You can start climbing anytime within that window, but the earlier you arrive, the more time you have to climb!
- Results Announced ~8:30pm (Or once all scorecards are counted.)
Registration:

- $30/Team – Day Of Registration
- $10 Day Passes for Non-Members
- First-time visitors will need to sign a waiver before climbing. Click Here to sign
Scoring:
- Each boulder problem will have an assigned point value. Higher point values indicate more challenging routes. (Route setters are human and may occasionally misjudge difficulty—please be kind!)
- Individual Score: Your top five highest-scoring boulders will be totaled to determine your overall placement.
- Submitting Scorecards: Scorecards may be turned in at any time but must be submitted by 8:00 PM to count.
- Team Scoring: Each placement earns a point value, and the team’s overall score is the sum of those values. The team with the lowest score wins!
- Tiebreaker: In the event of a tie, the team’s individual scores will be totaled to determine the winner.

- The Rookie (Climber who is newest to the sport!)
- The Veteran (Climber who has been climbing the longest!)
Prizes:
- All registration fees go toward prizes! The more participants, the bigger the prizes!
- Prizes may include gear and merch from N3C, Friction Labs, Petzl, Black Diamond, Edelrid, and more!
Bouldering Closure Notice:
- Limited Bouldering: Saturday & Sunday (April 5th–6th) as we take down routes and clean holds.
- Bouldering Closed: Monday, April 7th – Friday, April 11th (reopening for the comp at 4pm).
- This includes the Decoy Board!
