Crag Days

Try out the transition from gym to crag with the experts! Join N3C outside for an awesome outdoor experience at an unbeatable price. Here’s what you need to know:

Who:

Climbers who want to gain outdoor experience under the leadership of an experienced AMGA certified instructor.

Although all are welcome, the Crag Days are aimed primarily at proficient indoor climbers looking to gain experience outdoors. If you feel that you don’t match this description you might find one of our other guiding options to be a better fit!

What:

Each Crag Day is a little different, depending on the location and participants. However, on a typical day we will provide an introduction to outdoor climbing and will set up top ropes on a range of climbs that are appropriate difficulties for the participants in the group.

When:

Our first crag day of the season is on June 26th! Sign up below!

The plan is for a solid half-day of climbing. We will meet at the prescribed climbing location at 9am and plan on wrapping up climbing by 1pm or so.

* Crag days may be rescheduled due to weather and conditions. Specific timing and locations to be decided. Inquire about transport from the North Country Climbing Center if interested.

Where:

Locations will vary but will include amazing local crags such as Echo and Rumney.

How:

Call, shop online, or stop by the gym to register. A minimum of 4 participants is required to run the program.

How much:

$50 for members, $60 for non-members. Participants who register more than a week in advance will receive a $10 discount.

What to bring:

Water, snacks, and appropriate clothing for a day outside. All gear will be provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own if they have it.
