Rock-tober Community Appreciation Night with POW!

Final Friday celebration with Protect Our Winters!
N3C and Protect Our Winters join together before the November election to talk about climate change and how it impacts climbers here in New England and what we can all do to reduce and mitigate impacts.
We’ll watch “An Imperfect Advocate” where alpinist Graham Zimmerman explains his own struggle to advocate for policies that would reduce the impact of climate change despite his own personal carbon footprint.
Then we’ll hear from University of New Hampshire POW climate scientists about their climate change stories and their current research.
We’ll end with information about how to register to vote and share in a potluck style dinner. After the formal event we encourage you to stay, mingle, and of course climb.
This event is free for N3C members. Non-members simply need to bring a potluck item to share to secure their free entry.
We encourage all attendees to bring a food item to share along with a label that includes what the dish contains. (GF, vegan, nuts, etc.)
